Auto Notifications

Our status notification system is built on customizability, using a rules-based approach to sending automated email notifications to whomever you decide, the moment order status changes. Notifications can be sent when orders are received, scheduled, completed, and/or when paperwork is available on our website.

eXpress Scheduling

eXpress Scheduling

SMIS now allows you to schedule the moment an order is placed online, directly on our order form. Keep your applicant on the hook by getting a date set on the first call. eXpress Scheduling from SMIS will increase your conversions and decrease the turnaround time on your orders.

Texting

SMIS has implemented a texting system to allow contact with our base of independent examiners. We are able to cover cases faster and decrease turnaround time on your cases.

Quality Initiatives

SMIS reviews every medical requirement and makes sure that Independent Contractors (ICs) are meeting examination expectations. Our quality control process verifies that correct forms were used and ensures the details provided are enough information for an underwriter or carrier to use for underwriting.

Independent Contractor Quality Assurance Review (ICQAR)

Each of our Independent Contractors (ICs) receives a monthly quality assurance report ICQAR for work performed the previous month. The ICQAR is used both as a guide for improvement as well as to ensure that the best Independent Contractors are used for our exams. preferred contractors, who maintain a superior performance rating will be awarded highest priority for receiving new case assignments.

At SMIS, we proudly offer nationwide coverage for your insurance examination needs. National Reach Nationwide exams are processed and assigned from our one service center.
